Now that Spotify has integrated with Facebook with its updates, users are complaining that everything they listen to is being published to Facebook automatically.
Spotfiy has released an update to it’s app that will allow listeners to hide their listening behaviors from automatically publishing to Facebook. This is great, now you can listen to your guilty pleasures without backlash from your friends.
The updated Spotfiy app was announced on their Twitter account. The update should happen automatically, and all you have to do is select “File” from Windows or “Spotify” from Mac and then select “Private Listening”.
As long as you have the application in this mode, your Spotify activity is kept off of Facebook
