Adobe Photoshop Touch on Android and iPad tablets

Adobe announced that they will be launching six new tablet apps that will allow users to design and edit their content easily. This includes both Android and iPad tablets, but the Android apps will come first next monty. Sorry iPad users, Adobe has yet to have a release date for the iOS version except that it is scheduled for early 2012.

These new apps are inspired by the Adobe Creative Suite software that is used by many creative professionals and will now be available for those that use tablets. Adobe Photoshop Touch headlines the new apps that will allow image editing, sketching, mood boards, website, and mobile app prototyping.

Alongside these apps will be the Adobe Creative Cloud which will become a hub for creativity and allow you to share your work. All of the files created by the Adobe Touch apps can be shared, viewed on many devices or transferred into Adobe Creative Suite software for further changes.

Introductory pricing for these apps will be $9.99 each and include the following:

  • Adobe Photoshop Touch: Image editing
  • Adobe Collage: Photo importing and drawing tools for creating collages
  • Adobe Debut: Presentation software for Creative Suite files
  • Adobe Ideas: Vector-based drawing tools
  • Adobe Kuler: Color theme generation and exploration
  • Adobe Proto: Prototyping tools for websites and mobile apps
