It was less than a month ago that Netflix CEO, Reed Hastings, announced that the DVD rental service would spin off and become Qwikster. Now it appears he is retracting that statement saying that the DVD service will remain as Netflix and be run separate internally.
Wow, that makes more sense doesn’t it? Instead of customers having two different websites to go to with different logins, everything will remain as is to customers.
Hastings admitted Netflix may have moved too quickly, again. With all of these changes back and forth publicly, it makes you wonder what the real plans for Netflix are and if they will stay ahead of the game.
