Apple’s iPod Nano Gets Updated, And Cheaper!

iPod Nano gets a facelift and lower price

Apple announced today that there will be updates to the iPod Nano with user interface changes to improve navigation and 16 clock faces for its use as a watch. Now, the iPod Nano will have improved Nike+ compatibility out of the box with no requirement for additional accessories so that you can track walks and runs.

The Nano’s interface will now have larger icons for easier navigation. There are a range of designs, anything from analog Mickey Mouse to classic digital to Roman numerals.

It was once required to have a special dongle accessory sold separately in order to use the Nike+ for tracking runs and walks. The updated Nano can now track distance, pace, time and more right out of the box.

The 8GB model dropped from $149 to $129 and the 16GB model dropped from $179 to $149. They come in silver, graphite, blue, green, orange, pink, and red and are available starting today!
