There have been multiple reports that the Motorola Xoom will be the first tablet to receive Ice Cream Sandwich.
Even though it seems that Google isn’t pushing the tablet world with the new Android 4.0, Google acquired Motorola Mobility. With that said, it makes sense that the Xoom would get the update first.
Other Android tablets confirmed with getting Ice Cream Sandwich include the Samsung Galaxy Tab 10.1, Asus Transformer 1, Asus Transform 2, Lenovo, and Sony.
While this is still all speculation, there aren’t any release dates confirmed for the Motorola Xoom update.
[UPDATE] It has been confirmed by a Motorola employee that the Motorola Xoom will get Ice Cream Sandwich on the Motorola Forums. It has not been confirmed whether or not it will be the first tablet to receive it though. See snapshot.
