There may come times where you need to disable or prevent games or other applications from being purchased or installed on your iOS device. One in particular may be to child proof an iPhone, iPod, or iPad to keep accidental charges from happening. In any case, it is a very simple process.
Disable App Purchases And Installation On iOS Devices:
- Tap “Settings”, and tap on “General”
- Tap on “Restrictions”
- Tap “Enable Restrictions”
- Now set a passcode
- Scroll down to “Installing Apps” and swipe to OFF
To undo this process and re-enable App buying and installing:
- Tap “Settings”, and tap on “General”
- Tap on “Restrictions”
- Tap “Enable Restrictions”
- Enter your passcode when asked
- Scroll down to “Installing Apps” and swiped to ON
