There’s always a time that you wish you could use a regular keyboard or control your Android phone with your computer, and now you can. LazyDroid puts your Android phone’s functions right in your web browser.
So long as your phone and computer are on the same Wi-Fi network, you can use your web browser, send text messages, browse your phone filesystem, edit contacts, view your GPS location, and receive calls.
Once you install LazyDroid, it will give you an IP address which you can use to access your phone from any browser. You will see icons for SMS, Contacts, Filesystem, Camera, along with others. To open any of them just double click one as with any other application. You can also answer your phone if it rings and talk through a bluetooth headset if you’d like.
LazyDroid is a free download for Android devices. If you want to use it via USB instead of Wi-Fi, you can download a Windows client for that too.
