JailbreakMe 3.0 is officially live! This means you can easily jailbreak your iphone 4, 3Gs, ipod touch, ipad and ipad 2. This method jailbreaks your device by pointing your Safari browser to a webpage. By taking advantage of a PDF exploit in Mobile Safari, it can execute code straight from your device, jailbreak it and install Cydia.
Follow the steps below:
Step 1: Point Safari to http://jailbreakme.com
Step 2: As the website instructs, tap on “FREE” button, followed by “INSTALL” to begin the jailbreaking process.
Step 3: There’s nothing further for you to do! JailbreakMe will take advantage of the PDF exploit to take over your device and load Cydia onto it. A progress bar on Cydia’s icon, on the home screen should indicate the progress. as long as the bar is moving, don’t do anything.
Step 4: Once the process is finished, you should have Cydia installed on your device. It’s that simple!
