Install The Untethered Jailbreak On iOS 5.0.1
iOS 5.0.1 Untethered Jailbreak Supported Devices:
- iPhone 4
- iPhone 3GS
- iPod Touch 3G
- iPod Touch 4G
- iPad 1

Steps To Jailbreak iOS 5.0.1 Untethered With Redsn0w 0.9.10b1:
Download Redsn0w 0.9.10b1 (Windows – Mac)
Download iOS 5.0.1 IPSW stock firmware
Download and install iTunes (if you haven’t already)
- Connect your device to your computer
- Backup your iPhone, iPod Touch, or iPad and restore it with the iOS 5.0.1 IPSW file you downloaded above.
- Unzip the Redsn0w file you downloaded
- Open Redsn0w
- Select “Extras” then “Select IPSW” and browse to the iOS 5.0.1 IPSW file you downloaded and select it
- Click on “Jailbreak” then “Install Cydia”
- Follow the instructions on screen to get your device into DFU mode
- Once complete, your device will be rebooted with the full untethered jailbreak
