With each iOS major release, we run into the issue of can we jailbreak or do we jailbreak. iOS 5 is no different and it is able to be jailbroken but only a tethered jailbreak is offered at the moment.
Now comes the question of if your Cydia apps and tweaks are compatible with iOS 5. Since many of the changes in iOS 5 are deep within the system, there are a few that will be fine and others that will have issues. Ben (@The_Ben on twitter) has put together a spreadsheet letting us know which ones are or aren’t compatible.
