Instantly Sync Android Photos To Dropbox

Let’s face it, having to plug your Android phone or tablet into your computer to sync photos is a pain. If you take a lot of pictures it’s even worse and time consuming to drag them over. Now there’s an app called DropSnap to sync automatically.

While it won’t sync directly to your computer, it still syncs with Dropbox which will sync to any device attached to that Dropbox account. DropSnap is a free download, which only allows you to manually upload photos out of the box. If you stick with the free version, a notification will pop up overtime you take a picture asking if you want to open the app. To get everything to upload automatically you must buy a $3.99 in-app add-on.

DropSnap monitors a folder on your phone’s SD card, so whenever you take a picture with your phone (or a screenshot of your phone), it’ll automatically send it to your Dropbox folder, ready for access wherever you go. It’s like Eye-Fi for your phone, but better, since it doesn’t need to be anywhere near your computer to upload your photos.
