Windows 8 Will Have A Dedicated App Store

Everyone knows that Windows 8 has been in the works for some time now with leaked screenshots and builds on the internet.

However, little is known about Microsofts direction until some of the development teams spilled the beans. The long rumored “App Store” for Microsoft is no longer a question, but a soon to be a reality. The Microsoft App Store will give users access to many third-party software for Windows. The assumption is that Windows 8 is being developed to be optimized for many devices making installing new applications easier.

We’ll obviously be learning more about Windows 8 and what can be expected from the App Store at Microsoft’s developer oriented BUILD conference to take place from September 13th to the 16th.
