Adobe CS6 Packages
Later today, Adobe will be launching its new version of Creative Suite but the pricing has already been revealed. Adobe Creative Suite 6 has 14 applications that are available in four different packages:
- Adobe Creative Suite 6 Design and Web Premium – $1,899
- Adobe Creative Suite 6 Design Standard – $1,299
- Adobe Creative Suite 6 Production Premium – $1,899
- Adobe Creative Suite 6 Master Collection – $2,599
*Discounted upgrades from Creative Suite 5.5 and education discounts are also available
One of the best known apps in the Suite is Adobe Photoshop CS6 and starts at $699.
Adobe Creative Cloud
For those who still feel the prices are ridiculous, Adobe has made purchasing CS6 via the Creative Cloud which is a subscription service. This gives you access to all CS6 apps plus Lightroom 4 for a monthly fee of $49.99 ($19.99 for students). If you are upgrading from previous versions of Creative Suite it is $29.99/month This totals to 599.88/year or $359.88/year if upgrading, not bad to have access to all of Adobe’s Creative Suite applications. Along with the Creative Cloud, you also get online storage.
