Sprint To Get Rid Of Unlimited On Mobile Broadband And Hotspot Plans

Sprint Gets Rid of Unlimited Data

We’ve all heard rumors that unlimited data on Sprint’s mobile hotspot plan was going away, but it will be official as of November. Any data sent and received over tethering (not smartphone usage) will be capped at 5GB. Mobile broadband subscribers will lose unlimited WiMax and all data will count towards 3GB, 5GB, or 10GB. If you are to go over your allotment, you will be charged 5 cents per MB. Also, keep in mind that existing plans will NOT be grandfathered in.
