iPhone 5 To Be Available On October 14th

Apple Announces New iPhone for October

[]1Apple officially announced that they will be holding a media event on October 4th at their own Cupertino campus. On the event invite you will find “Let’s Talk iPhone” written, which of course means we will see iPhone related announcements possibly presented by CEO Tim Cook.

From BGR:

With reports circling that Apple’s next iPhone is due to launch on October 14th, BGR has received new information from a trusted AT&T source that seems to confirm a mid-October launch. AT&T has started to block all employee vacation requests for the first two weeks of October in order to have “all hands on deck.”

Boy Genius Report cites a Macotakara report which claims the next iPhone will be launched in the U.S, U.K, Japan, France, and Germany markets on October 14th. Apple traditionally announces the iPhone at an event, and then launches it within 2-3 weeks which has been the case with the 3GS and 4.

All I can say is it’s about time Apple made the event official. Now, we can look forward to the iPhone 4S and 5 rumors.
