Dual Boot Android And WebOS On HP TouchPad

Ever since the fire sale of the HP TouchPad and the discontinuation of the WebOS, developers have been making progress porting Android over to the tablet.

Porting Android over to the HP TouchPad has been in the works for a while now, but soon you will have the ability to boot into either Android or WebOS. This is made possible with a tool called ACME Installer and CyanogenMod 7.

ACME Installer (A CyanogenMod Experimental Installer) allows users to install CyanogenMod on their TouchPad in a fairly simple and safe method. Users will only require three files to set up CM7 once the tool is released: the ACME Installer, Novacom for Windows, Mac, or Linux, and a file called cm-update which has all the CM7 files.

ACME Installer is not currently available to the public just yet, as it is still in beta. Watch a demonstration from the developers below.
