Soon Able To Edit Your Word, Excel, and Powerpoints with iPad
Microsoft has been hard at work developing an iPad version of the Office suite of apps. They have already released OneNote as a standalone app but now they will be competing with Apple’s own iWork suite for the iPad.
The Daily has had some hands on experience with the Office suite for iPad and were the first to get a demo and and photos to share. Visually the apps seem to reflect a little bit of Metro as seen in the upcoming Windows 8 release. Included in the Microsoft Office suite will be Word, Excel, Powerpoint, and possibly others.
Reports suggest that Microsoft is almost ready to submit Office for approval in the App Store, so we all could be enjoying it ourselves very soon. Android device owners should expect to be disappointed as Microsoft has no intentions of releasing an Android version.
