iPhone 4S and iPad 2 Untethered Jailbreak Available for Download

FInally, after many hours of work put in by Pod2G along with MuscleNerd, Chronic Dev Team, and others, the wait is over.

The untethered jailbreak “Absinthe” is now available for download to free your iPhone 4S and iPad 2.

Be sure to backup your iPhone or iPad before jailbreaking with Absinthe as this is still an early release with possible bugs to iron out.

**NOTE: If you get the “Error Establishing A Database Connection” message try this fix

Download Absinthe Untethered Jailbreak

• Download Absinthe 0.2 (Mac OS X)
• Download Absinthe 0.2 (Windows) – coming soon *Checkout the command line CLI Tool until this is released
• Download Absinthe (Linux) – coming soon

• iPhone 4S: iOS 5.0 (9A334) and both builds of iOS 5.0.1 (9A405, 9A406)
• iPad 2 Wi-Fi, GSM, CDMA: iOS 5.0.1
